diesel forklifts from leaking oil?
1. The main reasons for common forklift oil leakage
①The quality, material or craftsmanship of the product (accessories) is poor, and the structural design is not good.
② Improper assembly adjustment, unclean mating surface during assembly, damaged gasket, displacement or failure to comply with operating specifications.
③ The torque of the tightening nut is uneven, the sliding wire is broken or loose and falls off, and the work fails.
④After long-term use of the sealing material, the wear and tear is excessive, the aging is deteriorated, and the deformation fails.
⑤ Too much lubricating oil is added, the oil level is too high or the wrong oil is added.
⑥ The joint surface of parts (side covers, thin-walled parts) is flexed and deformed; the casing parts are damaged, resulting in the leakage of lubricating oil.
⑦After the vent plug and check valve are blocked, due to the difference of air pressure inside and outside the casing, it often causes oil leakage at the weak seal.
2. Measures to prevent forklift oil leakage
① Pay attention to the role of gaskets between the parts of the forklift (such as each joint end face, each end cover, shell, cover gasket, flat flange cover, etc.), with various gaskets, which play a sealing role. Although the cushion is small, it has a great effect. If the material, size, production quality and installation method do not meet the technical specifications, the sealing effect will not be achieved, and even an accident will occur. Such as oil pan or valve cover, due to the large contact area, it is not easy to be compacted, and it is easy to cause oil leakage. Oil leaks at the rear oil seal of the crankshaft, and it will also penetrate into the clutch, which not only consumes oil, but also causes the clutch plate to be stained, slipped and burned. Therefore, when disassembling and assembling the gasket, you should pay attention to proper placement, carefully check its quality, and assemble it according to the specifications.
②Tighten the nuts according to the repair specifications. All kinds of fastening nuts (such as cylinder head nuts, gear chamber cover and valve cover nuts) on the forklift should be tightened evenly according to the specified torque. If it is too loose, the gasket will not be pressed tightly and oil leaks; In addition, if the oil drain plug of the oil pan (case) is not tightened or loosened, it will easily cause a large amount of oil loss, and then the machine damage accident of "burning tile and holding the shaft" will occur.
③ Replacement of failed oil seals There are oil seals, O-rings, etc. on many moving parts of the forklift. Due to improper installation, the journal and the oil seal edge are not concentric, and it is easy to throw oil due to deflection. Some will lose elasticity due to rubber aging after long-term use; some will lose the oil sealing effect due to damage and cracking of the lip or failure of the self-tightening spring. Therefore, it is found that the rubber seal leaks oil, and the qualified parts should be repaired or replaced according to the standard.
④Replace seriously worn parts in time. After a certain lifetime of forklift parts, excessive wear will occur. For example, the cylinder liner, piston connecting rod assembly, piston ring, piston and cylinder liner are worn to a certain extent, which will cause high-pressure gas in the combustion chamber to enter the crankshaft. box.
E. Repair and replace the main bearing in time. When the matching clearance between the main bearing and the journal is too large, the front and rear oil seals will lose their sealing due to the impact of the crankshaft, causing oil leakage from the crankshaft head or oil seepage into the clutch, thereby contaminating the friction plates. lead to slippage and work failure.
F. Avoid blocking the one-way valve and the ventilation valve. After such valve holes are blocked, it is easy to cause the temperature in the casing to rise. The oil and gas fill the entire space and cannot be discharged, which increases the pressure in the casing and increases the consumption of lubricating oil. and shorten the replacement cycle. After the engine ventilation system is blocked, the movement resistance of the piston is increased, which increases the fuel consumption. Due to the difference of air pressure inside and outside the casing, oil leakage is often caused at the weak seal. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct regular inspection, dredging, and cleaning of the vehicle to keep the one-way valve and the breather valve open.
⑤ Properly solve all kinds of oil pipe joints. The sealing coupling nut is often disassembled and assembled, and it is easy to loosen due to the breakage of the sliding wire, which makes the accuracy of the bell mouth of the two joints worse. Does not match, etc., resulting in oil seepage. To replace the connecting pipe nut, after grinding to solve the sealing between the connecting pipe joint and the bell mouth or clamping the thin copper sheet between the two cone surfaces, tighten and compact the nut to ensure the sealing.
⑥ Avoid wheel hub oil throwing. During wheel repair and maintenance, too much lubricating grease in the hub bearing and cavity, or improper hub oil package, poor quality, aging failure, excessive hub temperature and loose axle nut caused by frequent braking will all cause Wheel oil dump. Therefore, vehicle maintenance should adopt the "cavity lubrication method" (that is, proper lubrication), dredging the vent holes, using the brakes reasonably, strictly selecting high-quality accessories, and assembling and adjusting according to the process specifications to avoid wheel oil throwing.
