A mechanical failure of a diesel forklift in operation can cause damage to the base part, and cause a mechanical accident. Before the engine failure of the diesel forklift truck, some abnormal signs will appear in its speed, sound, exhaust gas, water temperature, oil pressure, etc., that is, the failure warning feature. Therefore, the operator should quickly make accurate judgments based on the characteristics of the omen, and judge the acceptance measures to avoid accidents.
1. "Flying car" failure
Omen characteristics: The speed suddenly rises, and it is getting faster and faster. It is not controlled by the throttle, the sound is abnormal and harsh, and the exhaust pipe emits a lot of blue or black smoke. "Flying car" is a speeding idling, and it will not happen when working under load. It will only happen when the load suddenly disappears or is lightened just after starting or during work. The main reason is that the governor system fails, causing the oil supply to lose control or the oil pan is caused by excessive oil. If there is an omen of "speeding", if emergency measures are not taken immediately, it will eventually lead to major accidents such as cylinder ramming and shaft breakage. Disposal measures are mainly used to stop the fuel or gas to achieve the purpose of flameout.
The emergency measures that can be taken are: First, turn off the throttle to curb fuel supply, and step on the brakes; Second, block the intake pipe to cut off air entry; Third, quickly loosen the high-pressure fuel pipe to stop fuel supply; Fourth, it can be used when the vehicle diesel engine is running. Advanced heavy load (brake), which causes the engine to stall due to insufficient torque.
2. Cylinder failure
Omen characteristics: slow speed, weak operation, boring sound, super high water temperature, and the indicator with a water temperature meter exceeds 100°C. At this time, sprinkle some water on the machine, it will quickly evaporate. The main reason is the severe water shortage and the failure of the water cooling system. If the engine is shut down immediately, sticking of the cylinder may occur.
Disposal measures: Idling for a period of time or turning off the crankshaft to assist cooling to reduce the water temperature to about 40°C, and then slowly add cooling water. Be careful not to add cooling water immediately, otherwise it will cause the parts to deform or crack due to sudden local temperature drops.
3. Cylinder failure
Omen characteristics: There is a "click" sound in the crankcase, like the sound of a small hammer tapping on a hard floor, which is commonly known as "cylinder knocking". The oil pressure drops, which is more pronounced during rapid acceleration. Tamping cylinder is a destructive mechanical failure, mainly due to the loosening of connecting rod bolts or the tensioning neck of the bolts, and the large gap between the connecting rod shafts, causing the bolts to loosen or break. If there is a knocking sound, but the oil pressure is normal, it is not a sign of knocking the cylinder. It should be considered from the adjustment of the fuel supply advance angle.
Disposal measures: Immediately shut down for maintenance and replace with new ones.
4. Tile burning failure
Omen characteristics: The sound is dull, as if the load suddenly increases, the speed drops, the oil pressure drops, and the exhaust emits black smoke. Burning bushes will cause the bushes and journals to lock up and stall. The main reason is that the lubricating oil film on the bearing bushes surface is destroyed, the bearing bushes and the journal surface metal are in direct contact, and the friction temperature rises rapidly, resulting in gluing.
Disposal measures: stop the machine immediately, remove the cover and check the connecting rod and bearing bush, find out the reason, repair and replace it.
5. Shaft broken fault
Omen characteristics: A boring knocking sound occurs in the crankcase. When the accelerator is increased, the knocking sound becomes louder, the parts tremble severely when idling, and the exhaust emits black smoke. The broken shaft is caused by mechanical fatigue at the shoulder of the crankshaft journal, and there is a gradual process from cracking to broken. In the recessive fission, the omen characteristics are not obvious. As the crack expands, the omen characteristics become more and more obvious, and finally cause the broken shaft to stall. If the throttle is trembling or the frequency of percussion is the same, the machine may be at the critical point of shaft breakage. At this time, remove the cover and check and push the flywheel by hand. If the axial gap is large and the pushing is not difficult, it indicates that the crankshaft has been broken.
Disposal measures: stop the machine immediately for inspection if signs are found, and replace the crankshaft in time if cracks are found.
