How to Use Cold Starting Fluid Correctly for Winter Diesel Forklifts to Start Quickly

In winter, diesel forklifts are difficult to start. What are the solutions? One way to help you start quickly is to use cold start fluid. The components of cold start fluid are low ignition point compounds, mainly ether, which has a low flash point and is easily volatile, allowing the engine to start smoothly at low temperatures. Due to its volatile nature and low ignition point, starting fluid can quickly and smoothly start the engine under harsh weather conditions or insufficient cylinder pressure, effectively preventing excessive loss of battery, motor, and ignition switch due to cold and humid weather or insufficient cylinder pressure. Cold start fluid can shorten the engine start time and extend the battery life in extremely cold and low temperatures. It can be injected into the cylinder to help start the engine when it is difficult to start in winter.

The specific operation method for cold start fluid:
1. Before starting the cold car, shake the cold start fluid well and spray it directly into the intake system.
2. Before using cold start fluid, preheat the fuel tank and oil pan to ensure good lubrication of all moving parts inside the engine. Install a fuel tank heater for preheating.
3. Spray cold starting fluid into the air inlet of the air filter. After starting the diesel engine, let it run at idle speed and heat up. Do not hit the throttle, and pay attention to the oil pressure indicator light to prevent pulling or burning due to poor oil flow at low temperatures or poor lubrication of lubricating parts such as bearings.
Precautions for using cold start fluid:
1. Low temperature starting fluid containers should be installed in a cool and ventilated place, away from high temperature heat sources, and open flames are prohibited from approaching to prevent explosion and injury to people.
2. Low temperature starting fluid is flammable and has anesthetic properties. It should be sealed and stored in a cool and ventilated warehouse at a lower temperature. It should not be stored outdoors, and personal safety should be taken into consideration during storage.

3. Do not add low-temperature starting fluid to the fuel tank to avoid air resistance.
